Who is Wojo?
Bob Wojnowski, aka Wojo, is a sports columnist for The Detroit News and co-host of a radio show with Jeff Riger on 97.1 The Ticket. Wojnowski also appears often on Fox 2 Detroit's "SportsWorks" Sunday night roundtable.

How does Wojo's Picks work?

Each week you can test your college football expertise by selecting the outcome of the most popular college football matchups. The picks are made  against the spread. The coming weekend's games will usually be available for your predictions by the preceding Monday evening.

Entrants will receive one point each for game in which they correctly guess the winner against the points spread. The entrant with the highest number of points at the end of each week will be deemed the Weekly Winner. There will be a total of eight weekly winners. On or about Dec. 17, 2020, each eligible entrants seven best weekly point totals will be added together. The entrant with the highest cumulative point total will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner.

The contest runs from Oct. 24, 2020 through Dec. 12, 2020. There will be eight rounds, with each round lasting about a week: from the earliest matchup to the last kickoff of the weekend. You must make your picks for each round before the assigned deadlines. The deadlines will be noted on the pick sheets.

You will be able to view Wojo’s Picks and see how yours stack up against his! You never know: you might beat him!

Are there prizes?

Of course!

Each Weekly Winner will be featured on the Winners' tab. They will also receive a $50 gift card prize.

In addition, they will have the chance to submit their photo, their picks for the next week, and the reasoning behind their selections for a featured article in the Sports section of The Detroit News!

The Grand Prize Winner, determined by cumulative weekly totals, will receive a $500 VISA GIFT CARD!

Can I play with a private group of friends and family?

Yes. After you register and log in, just click on the my groups tab. Next click on "Create a Private Group" and follow the instructions.

What if the contest's games are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic?

If individual games are canceled or postponed, they won't count in that particular week. We also have contingencies if the entire season is canceled. They are laid out in the rules below.
